Label Printing Quality Assurance – ISO 9001:2015 & MNC Audit-Ready

Quality at the Core of Ugar Labels

At Vikram Printers and our labels division, Ugar Labels, trust is not just a word—it is the core principle driving our operations, relationships and growth. We are proud to be an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Company committed to delivering reliable, high-precision packaging solutions. Our label printing quality assurance framework is designed to meet the consistency expectations of multinational corporations as well as fast-growing regional brands.

In 2020, we launched Ugar Labels as a specialized division to deliver high-end labels and shrink sleeves, and today we serve over 500 clients with a track record of clearing rigorous MNC audits. This page explains how our quality systems work behind the scenes to keep labels, sleeves and cartons consistent and audit-ready.

ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System

Ugar Labels operates under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS), the international standard for process quality and continuous improvement. This means our quality assurance is not limited to a single department; it covers planning, purchasing, production, maintenance, quality control and management processes across the organisation.

ISO 9001:2015 requires documented procedures, records and reviews for key activities such as production planning, design changes, material control, equipment maintenance and corrective actions. For label and packaging buyers, this translates into better process discipline, more predictable outcomes and a visible commitment to ongoing improvement.

Our Quality Control Department & Specialized Equipment

To achieve the highest quality standards and maintain the consistency required by multinational corporations, Ugar Labels has invested in a well-equipped Quality Control department and specialized equipment. The QC team is responsible for monitoring quality from raw materials through to finished labels and cartons, working alongside production and planning teams.

Specialized QC equipment may include tools for measuring print density and colour, checking registration, inspecting labels for defects and verifying barcode readability, in line with best practices followed by quality-driven label converters globally. These systems help detect issues early so that corrective action can be taken before labels reach the customer.
